The Office as а Strategy: SGI at the Office Investments & Workspace Forum 2025
Where is office design heading?
And what role does architecture play in meeting the changing expectations of the modern workplace?
At this year’s Office Investments & Workspace Forum, organised by The City Media Group, SGI took part in Panel 4: Projects Showcase, Flight to Quality. Architects Maria Dimitrova and Nezabravka Tushnina shared reflections from SGI’s design practice and how the workplace is being redefined. Offices are no longer just spaces to work in. They are becoming environments of experience, culture and long-term strategy. Square metres are not the same as value The discussion focused on the shift in how we perceive office space. Today, it is not just about area. An office is a part of the brand. It influences motivation. It mirrors how flexible an organisation truly is. Maria and Nezabravka also shared SGI’s experience of designing our new office. The process involved multiple iterations and revealed how diverse and evolving team needs really are.
Key takeaway "There’s a growing need for maximum adaptability. Employers must regularly listen to their teams, and office spaces should be able to evolve with them." Creating that kind of space requires more than just good design. It takes a real understanding of workflows, team dynamics and workplace culture. Meaningful conversations and fresh perspectives The Office Investments & Workspace Forum offered thoughtful dialogue and well-curated topics around the future of the workplace. We’re glad to have been part of such an insightful programme, alongside peers and partners who believe in the power of space to shape how we work, connect and grow.
