SGI Architects & Masterplanners Continues Support for Young Talent at K&D Cup 2024
For the fourth year in a row, SGI Architects & Masterplanners played a crucial role in organizing the K&D Cup, part of the International Tennis Federation Men's calendar. The tournament, held from August 12th to 18th at the "Diana" Tennis Club in Sofia, featured a prize fund of $15,000. A Juniors tournament also took place earlier, from June 24th to 29th.
This year's ITF final saw 15-year-old Bulgarian talent Ivan Ivanov face off against 24-year-old Argentine Franco Ribero in a thrilling match that lasted over three hours. The event drew a packed crowd. Two days prior, the K&D audience also witnessed the exciting doubles final, where Bulgarian players Anttoni Genov and Nikolay Nedelchev triumphed with a hard-fought victory, securing the title after a gripping match. All winners were awarded by prominent figures, including SGI’s manager, Arch. Kazakov.
Organized by the Kazakov and Daw Foundation—founded by SGI’s managing directors, Arch. Tihomir Kazakov and Arch. Alexander Daw—the tournament aims to support young talent and contribute to a brighter future for Bulgarian youth. SGI’s involvement in the foundation reflects the company’s commitment to nurturing the next generation.

SGI In Support Of Bulgarian Tennis
The Tennis Tournament “Diana Cup” was carried out in two parts. The first tournament took part between 28.06 and 04.07 as a part of the Junior ITF calendar and the second one was held between 04.07 and 11.07.2021, as part of the Male ITF calendar.
