Another successful edition of K&D Cup
After two weeks of exciting matches on the courts of Tennis Club Dianа, the finals of K&D Cup took place on 09.07.2023.
The champion of the ITF Men tournament is Portugal's Gonzalo Oliveira, who is currently in 298th place in the world rankings. He triumphed in the final match against Germany's Marvin Moeller 6:3, 6:1. The doubles final was held on Saturday, when the Swedish duo Erik Grevelius and Adam Heinonen grabbed the title, Earlier that day they overtook the Bulgarians Simon Antoni Ivanov and Gabriel Donev in the semi-finals. The Bulgarians Borislav Kirilov, Erik Vladimirov and Anastasia Burzakova won the doubles titles in the boys and girls J30 tournament in Sofia's "K&D Cup". Meanwhile, Bulgaria's Valeria Garnevska won second place in the girls' singles category. In the final match, Garnevska lost 2:6, 1:6 to Alessandra Siharulidze from the USA. The junior singles title was won by Elias Schumann of Austria. The Bulgarians Erik Vladimirov and Angel Vladov had a very strong performance and finished third in the singles.
The tournament was held for the third consecutive year, with the main initiator and organizer being the Kazakov & Dow Foundation, together with tournament director Katerina Genova and the hosts from the Diana Tennis Club. The general sponsor of the event was Rainers Aluminium Bulgaria, which together with the other partners from SGI Architects & Masterplanners, Studio Alliance, Domko, Dormax, Comforta and Rupel Winery made the event possible.
"K&D Cup" successfully managed to provide young Bulgarian tennis players with the opportunity to play matches on a high international level. Both the J30 junior and ITF men's tournaments, with a prize fund of 15,000 USD were part of the official calendar of the "International Tennis Federation."

For a third year in a row, SGI is being a promoter of Bulgarian tennis. K&D Cup, which is organized by Kazakov & Daw Foundation, aims to support the Bulgarian youth by providing them with opportunities to play on an international level. This year the event is taking place in two separate tournaments, both part of the ITF calendar.
