Ring Park

Sofia, Bulgaria

Focal point in the design submission is the proposal for a luxury gated community in the southern districts of Sofia, at the foothills of Mount Vitosha. The location has very convenient connections to the very center of the city via big thoroughfares.  Its surroundings provide amenities including existing a mall and a furniture retail.

The proposal envisages several design stages the last one being a business area with office buildings, sports facilities, hotel and the a park. The Total Built Up Area of the business zone is 65 000sq.m. above ground.

The modern and energy-efficient office architecture will satisfy the requirements of foreign and local investors willing to develop their business in Sofia. The stage also includes the construction of restaurants, shops, and even a kindergarten.

The first phases of the design provide residential area including apartment buildings and single-family houses. The Total Built Up Area of the residential zone is 45 000sq.m. above ground

Designed as a ‘Horizontal’ mixed-use development ( a group of adjacent buildings on a single site where each building fulfills a specific purpose), Ring Park mixed-use development encourages the tenants and the public to walk through the communal space to other buildings, stimulating opportunities such as outdoor dining.

The main focus of Ring Park mixed-use development are the people who will live, work, study or spend their free time in the complex. That’s why the overall concept of the project aims to create a quality living environment that predisposes all residents and guests to feel comfortable being in close proximity to the city and at the foothills of the mountain.
