Overview SGI was entrusted with designing the office relocation for a prominent information technology company in Sofia as a local representative of the international design studio Designfolk. This ambitious project involved transforming a familiar building from a decade ago into a state-of-the-art, modern workspace. With a focus on adaptability, comfort, and high functionality, the design meets the client’s specific needs for a versatile and collaborative environment.

Design Concept The project encompasses flexible layouts that encourage both individual focus and collaborative teamwork. From ergonomic workstations and open collaboration zones to tailored lighting solutions, every detail was chosen to optimize comfort and adaptability. Biophilic elements, such as natural lighting and greenery, add to the overall calm and inviting atmosphere.

Key Features This office design includes high-end finishes, sustainable materials, and personalized climate control. The space adapts to various workstyles, with ample ergonomic workstations, quiet zones, and informal meeting areas. A particular emphasis was placed on transparency throughout the project: employees were kept involved through site tours, presentations, and construction updates, creating a sense of ownership over the transformation.

Community Engagement Employee feedback and engagement were integral to the project’s success. Regular updates, on-site visits, and post-occupancy surveys allowed for real-time adjustments, ensuring the space was genuinely tailored to meet diverse team needs.
