Econt Distribution Centre Nadezhda

Sofia, Bulgaria

Located in the Nadezhda district of Sofia, this concept design proposes a new logistics hub tailored for Econt’s growing operational needs. The scheme responds directly to the dynamics of high-volume parcel distribution, with emphasis on accessibility, clear workflow zoning, and future flexibility.

The design envisions a single-storey logistics hall with over 4,700 m² of built-up area, positioned for maximum functionality. The internal spatial organisation supports efficient sorting, repackaging, and dispatch operations. Height clearances are optimised for potential racking systems, and the layout allows for three-sided loading access – accommodating both TIR vehicles and smaller delivery vans.

The project integrates essential support facilities with minimal footprint, including staff rest areas, changing rooms, and compact offices. External zones provide space for maneuvering, parking, and greenery, while future adaptability has been considered through a modular structural concept.
