SGI Takes Part In Tennis Tournament In Support Of The Bulgarian Talents

For the second year in a row foundation “Kazakov and Dow,” is main organizer of the “Reynaers Diana Cup 2022” tournament part of the ITF Calendar.

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is a structure consisting of 210 national federations, the aim of which, is to be an administrator of the Tennis sport around the world. The International Man’s Tennis Tour is a series of entry-level professional tennis tournaments which provides a pathway between the ITF Junior World Tennis Tour and the elite levels of men’s professional tennis. with a prize of 15000 USD, Every international tennis player goes through this chain of tournaments in order to collect points for the international rank list and to gain experience to reach the international elite. These types of tournaments provide great opportunities to Bulgarian tennis players while at the same time attracting a lot of foreigners to the Bulgarian scene,

The tournament was held on the territory of Tennis Club “Diana” which offers great courts and equipment, as well as a great team of professionals which trains both active professional players and amateur players of all ages.

“Reynaers Diana Cup 2022” was held in three parts - the big event being the Men tournament from 4th until 10th of July, which was a part of the ITF calendar with a prize fund of 15000 USD. Viewers were able to follow the games live on the webpage of B1B BOX.

This event was preceded by two smaller ones – J5 for players ages 16-18 and Tennis Europe for players of ages 14 to 16. While J5 was part of the Junior ITF calendar, TE was part of Tennis Europe – a regional association of ITF. The total duration of the tournament spanned from June 11 until 10 July.

Despite the strong international presence, the “Reynaers Diana Cup Men 2022” trophies were grabbed by Bulgarian players in both the Singles and Doubles category.
