Oman Headqurters

The Free Zone is located adjacent to the Port of Salalah and is becoming increasingly important as part of the local community. The masterplan is split into two zones; the Raysut site and the Adhan site.

The Raysut site is predominantly heavy and light industrial uses with a new urban centre located on the cliff top with stunning views overlooking the Arabian Sea. One of the key concepts proposed was the design of key focal points on the coastline – likened to modern lighthouses which will define avenues and strategic locations. These elements will add to the clarity of the scheme and the defining of the urban spaces. The Adhan site will contain warehousing, offices and high tech industries.

We were pleased to have an opportunity to bid for the masterplanning commission having designed the Iconic SFZ Headquarters on the Adhan site. That key project commenced on site in 2013.
